Accommodation and Meals

All participants will stay either at the ORTHODOX ACADEMY OF CRETE (OAC) or one of a small number of pensions in the nearby village of Kolymbari.

The OAC is composed of two buildings set against the costal mountains and overlooking the sea. The buildings are connected at the first floor level by a bridge. All rooms have private bathrooms.

Accommodation will be in twin rooms and roommate requests will be accommodated when possible. There are a few single rooms without air conditioning that can be assigned on special request.

Orthodox Academy of Crete (OAC)

Meals

Breakfast will be served in the dining room at 08.00 hours.

Lunch and dinner are usually at 13.00 and 21.00 hours respectively depending on the scheduling of the talks.

Meals are served family style to all participants (including those staying in the village) in a single sitting and feature local foods and traditional Greek dishes. Water and wine are provided at mealtimes. The kitchen can meet special dietary needs with advance notice. Please indicate your needs on the registration form after you have been accepted to the workshop.

Accompanying Guests

Participants with accompanying guests do so at their own expense. The number of guests and/or children who will accompany you should be indicated on the Registration Form.

You will be expected to pay for any accompanying guests when you pay your registration fees prior to your arrival at the meeting.

Extra nights

The Registration Fee covers the (4) nights of the conference at the OAC. OAC accommodations are only available to attendees during the meeting, and if you require an extra night either before or after the conference, here are some options to stay in town:
